Q: Why can't I login and buy stuff?
A: We are a B2B (business to business) wholesale distributor which means we only sell to shops and retailers. In order to get a login for our site to place orders and view wholesale pricing, you must be a retail business owner and apply to become an ESS dealer.
Q: If I don’t own a retail store, can I still get something I see on your site?
A: Absolutely! Hit up your local skate shop and tell them to order it from us! We can ship anything you see on our site to them in a matter of days!
Q: I’m a shop owner. How do I apply to become a dealer?
A: Any store that wants to apply to become a dealer can find our dealer application here. *Note that all information gathered on our website is 100% secure and strictly used for verifying your store’s authenticity.
Q: Why should I use you guys?
A: Several reasons:
- You'll save time & money - get the majority of your shop’s needs in one order, rather than several.
- You'll get same-day shipping on all orders before 3pm EST - get exactly what you need when you need it!
- We require absolutely NO order minimums - order as much or as little as you like!
- We’ve been doing this since 1985 - we’re dedicated to helping your shop succeed and have the industry knowledge & experience to make it happen!
Q: Do you guys supply non-traditional shops? (mobile, flea markets, home-based businesses)
A: In an effort to further support brick & mortar storefronts, we aren’t currently opening accounts for non-traditional shops like the ones mentioned above.
Q: Do you supply online-only/drop ship stores?
A: Our primary focus has, and will always be, on physical skate & surf shops. With that being said, we handle online/drop ship accounts on a case by case basis. To be seriously considered for an online-only account with us, we encourage you to have an established e-commerce website
Q: Do you supply shops outside of the US?
A: We do have several international accounts, but please note that we are limited in what we can sell overseas due to existing agreements with our vendors. Major brands tend to already have distribution set up in many other countries, so what we are able to distribute can vary greatly depending on which country you live in. If you have a shop located outside the US and would like to learn more about what we can provide, please complete our international dealer application. Please have a list of brands you wish to carry on hand and let us know in the application.
Q: How can I get Eastern to carry my brand?
A: New brands are handled by upper management on a case by case basis. If you would like to inquire about getting your brand distributed by ESS, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include your brand’s website, social media links, and a brief brand bio for our team to review.
Q: Do you guys sponsor?
A: Since we are a distributor and not a brand, we do not sponsor riders. If you are looking for a sponsorship, we encourage you to contact your local shop or specific brands that you support.
Q: I’m looking for a job! Are you guys hiring?
A: We occasionally have openings throughout our company. Feel free to drop off your resume and we’ll store it on file for future job openings.
